Before We Conform, Or Condemn, Let Us At Least Be Curious

  1. I often wonder at what number turning point we are at with the war in Ukraine. The MSM in the Not so United Kingdom would have had us believe Zelenskyy and his men were winning the war months ago. Don’t get me wrong my support for Ukraine is unwavering and I fully understand propaganda but particularly in these days of social media the truth often tells a different story. I fully disagree with the banning of the Putin propaganda machine that was RT only because after watching both RT and Sky News could you come to the conclusion that the truth was somewhere in the middle. Now we have spin on Trumpian scale. How many times has the Rapist in Chief said Iran had lost the war? Finding a non biased outlet is almost impossible. I don’t want rhetoric or if buts and maybes, give me statistics, show me the gains, the losses. Tell me the truth. This isn’t a criticism of social media news, whilst they all have their angles most tend to be “more real” than the propaganda that’s pumped into our homes each morning from Sky etc. This is also why I enjoy “Lynx” it’s not dressed up as sweetness and light. The stories are real, the suffering is real. Sure there’s a clear and obvious leaning toward Ukraine but these journalists don’t mince their words. This is as close to the truth as we’re likely to get.
