Tony Greenstein ✈ Firstly it was ‘unconscious anti-Semitism’ that was Labour’s problem now we have a rewriting of the fight against German fascism.

One of the iron rules of left politics is that refugees from the SWP’s internal regime almost invariably move to the right.

So it is with Richard Seymour. The politico-psychological reasons for this I will leave to others.

The sense of political freedom that comes from not having to pay lip service to a particular political line perhaps? Or maybe the stress of having to pretend that some organisation or other is really a genuine manifestation of the popular will rather than an SWP front group no doubt takes its toll.

Richard Seymour who has had his Lenin’s Tomb blog since 2003 became a licensed critic within the SWP. Just as Kremlinologists became adept at reading between the lines of official Soviet pronouncements in order to gauge which way the wind was blowing, so some of us became adept at reading between the lines of Seymour’s blog.

It all exploded in 2013 with the SWP’s rape scandal when women who accused the National Secretary, Martin Smith (Comrade Delta!) of rape and sexual assault found themselves under attack. At a kangaroo court, (Disputes Committee) they found themselves being questioned about their sexual history and they found themselves becoming the accused.

Richard Seymour’s Journey To the Right Continues As He Abandons Class Whilst Glorifying The Attractions Of Fascism

  1. Good to see Tony Greenstein's articles published here.

On Monday past Tony appeared in Court to defend his liable case against the notorious Campaign Against Antisemitism.
    https://azvsas.blogspot.com/2020/10/the-campaign-against-anti-semitism-is.html

I haven't heard the outcome of this yet, but I hope that this case goes ahead.

I, like Tony and many others have been expelled from the labour Party on false pretences, and in my case, without any chance of being heard, (this doesn't mean that I don't know who is responsible, I do and they can be sure I'll catch up with them), so I'll be very happy to see these agents of a foreign power being held to account!

Thhe "agents of a foreign power" that you are presumably referring to as Jewish Labour Movement, Campaign Agsinst Antisemitism, Briish Board of Deputies etc are UK Jewish intereswt/pressure grups not arms of the Israel Emabnssy or of any arm of the State of Israel.

It is fine to criticise the ideology of theswe groups and to question whether they represent the totality of UK Jewish opinion. But to allege that they afre acgtin ob behalf of a foreign power is defamatory and feeds into a standard antisemitic trope that UK Jews are not loyal to the country only to the State of Israel, Global Zionsim, World Jrwry wahteve. It is one wich was deplooyed freqiently by antismeimitism peddlers who flooded into the Labour Party under Corbyn anxd who helped consign it to five more years in opposition.

  3. Barry of course is a servant to the idea that anything you write about Zionist groups is an 'antisemitic trope'

The Jewish Labour Movement is without doubt an arm of the Israeli state. For gods sake it says on its own website that it is the 'sister party' of the defunct Israeli Labor Party. It was refounded in 2015 with the sole purpose of taking down Jeremy Corbyn.

Israel has numerous lobby groups spreading their poison in the US and Britain. Israel openly boasts about supporting dirty tricks campaigns via their Ministry of Strategic Affairs funded by $50m.

Not I haven't mentioned Jews, but Zionists. Yes it is antisemitic to say that Jews are not loyal to their own state but Israel. So why the hell do I keep getting accused by Zionists of being a 'traitor'? How can I be a traitor to a country that I have no loyalty to?

The fact is that Zionism insists on dual loyalty. Hence every Saturday prayers are said in synagogues both for the British state AND Israel. Zionism says that Jews don't belong, that they are aliens, members of a separate nation/race.

That was why the Nazis singled out the German Zionist Federation for special and favourable treatment and suppressed the non-Zionists. In Romania Jews called the Zionist Centrala (Judenrat) 'Hitlerjuden'.

As Jacob Klatzkin, editor of Die Welt and a co-founder of the Encyclopedia Judaica wrote:
'‘If we do not admit the rightfulness of anti-Semitism we deny the rightfulness of our own nationalism... Instead of establishing societies for defence against the anti-Semites who want to reduce our rights, we should establish societies for defence against our friends, who desire to defend our rights.’

No doubt Barry will defend that too!!
