Padraic Mac Coitir thinks Sinn Fein has a lot to answer for when it comes to the creeping impoverization in the North.

People may say I'm being petty and want to criticise SF at any opportunity. Yes, I will criticise them and as time goes by I will criticise them even more. I try to ignore them but they are very much in our communities and like any group that's out to screw our people they have to be challenged.

Where they've had a presence over the years- and yes people like me canvassed for them and encouraged sound people to vote for them- they've run our communities into the ground. Poverty is rife in the likes of West Belfast but their elected reps and paid workers get wages only conservatives could dream of.

An election is coming up soon - obviously for councils but I wouldn't be surprised if there's one for that super council called Stormont - and they'll be out in their droves begging people to vote for them. They'll do well but they should be challenged when knocking doors - they won't have the balls to knock their critics' doors - and asked what exactly they've done over the past lot of years.

They may come off with crap but the chart below can be the starting point.

People are living on the streets, going to food banks, working in shitty jobs and sending kids out to school hungry. This isn't the 1930s but 2019 and it's despicable the state we are in and I for one blame Sinn Féin.

  2. Can't really be there fault alone now can it after all they don't have their mits on the Exchequer now do they....but guess who does....the DUP and Tories.
the Shinners do bear the responsibility of exacerbating the issues or even prolonging their misery but as to actual blame....i don't think i can agree with that.
