Or brothers we could remove it altogether, and leave a plaque, stating herein lies the history of the orange order HERE TODAY .....GONE TOMORROW!or we could blame Gary Liniker he is famous for stealing Walkers!
fuckin error 503 again! Mickeyboy thoses mushrooms the side effects are begining to kick in my son,of course its not Anthony, its none other than the goat himself Gerry the beard, he was an apprentice after all yip 3 weeks as an apprentice barman, made a mint bought a big gaff on the Glen rd,and another fine property in Gort a Horc.
Marty, do you think other forces could be at work? You have sort of earmarked yourself with the powers that be.
Just wish there had of been some divine intervention in Derry yesterday when Gilmore was back surveying the 'Maiden City'
His handlers have refused to honour their contract to pay his pension, so he returned to the 'City of Culture' to survey all the progress he believes he helped achieve!
Honestly wish some divine force could have tossed him over the wall.
I have to say, I always had a bit of a sneaking admiration for those involved in the 'Siege of Derry' Not too concerned about George Walker though, I'm sure Gerry will name something after him!

Just on a point of accuracy, Governor Walker is primarily commemorated by the Apprentice Boys Of Derry. Although he was later killed at the Battle Of The Boyne he is not officially commemorated by the Orange Order. Brian appears to have depicted his character wearing a Royal Black Perceptory collarette, distinct differences but minor detail all the same. As I recall, in an earler discussion I touched on the destruction of Walkers Pillar. You described it as the actions of a liberated people. The latest vandalism was captured on cctv, and they were clearly inebriated people with their 'liberation' being from sobriety as opposed to the yoke of British rule. Perhaps when your schadenfreude has receded you might consider placing your earlier sentiment upon a plaque,".. it can be no capitulation of civil liberties, when you allow your neighbours theirs."
Robert my fellow Irish man and a cara my delight will be fully furnished when the last vestige of british dominance is gone to where all those imperialist bastards go, statues commerating those who oppressed the indigenous people of this island mean nothing to me and I couldnt care less about their destruction save someone else the job later,as for Walker his missus should have left him buried at the Boyne and let good Irish cows crap on him.
A very ugly outburst - it is exactly that sort of kenitic rage that may propel us back to the past. "The only thing we learn from history is that we learn nothing from history."
Robert the past is over mo cara we wont be going back there my friend one positive thing that came out of 69 the Nationalist people are of their knees, unionst ascendancy is gone and wont be coming back, this can be a great opportunity for people like us to forge a new alingment, build a new future on this island of Ireland, but Robert a cara we need to get rid of that secterian baggage which is the loyal orders ,
