  1. No talk of convictions!
In fact there has been very little talk.
Sinn Fein, appear more interested in having Irish people criminalised, than demanding justice for these murders.

  2. Did,nt Powell say in his book that Mc Guinness said an apology would have sufficed Nuala,my money is on no prosecutions, the Saville report was a win/win for the brits and those who want Bloody Sunday to be left in the past, imo the Saville report should just be the begining of very many inquiries into state sponsored murders, not the last

  3. Marty, there are a lot of people more concerned with telling us to move forward!
To be truthful I have no idea what that means, but they keep telling us we must go in that direction.
I think, moving forward is now a euphemism for don't dig too deep.

  4. Stop digging full stop hon, moving foward is playing cute whore politics like everyone else!

  5. those, lets say republican groups who oppose SINN FEIN, have a policy of not recognising the parades body, so they do not sent a months notice for any of there own marches, this is there own business, but this means that they do not recognise any group that accepts the months notice, like the bloody sunday truth marches, that have being going on for years, nor do they recognise the bloody sunday relatives for taking part in these marches, there words, so it is difficult to see such people making up assumpions, the brits did murder that day, and many other days, so these soldiers should pay, it is not the IRISH fault that british negotiaters were stupid to leave there own soldiers out of the good friday agreement, out of the legal escape.

  6. PM Brown's "apology" was a token gesture to the families of the victims of Bloody Sunday. When I heard this on the news, I automatically said the BG have no intentions of prosecuting those soldiers involved in that massacre of innocent Irish civil rights marchers. Talk is cheap! Actions speak louder then words! The BG thinks by “apologizing”, the families should be content with that and go away. Bring the soldiers to trial just like they do Irish republicans. What is good for the goose is good for the gander!

  7. Michaelhenry they should have included you in the negotiations. That would have caused some confusion
Powell would have had to have added at least another ten chapters on to the book.

  8. If they were serious about justice, why has nothing been done about Derek Wilford?

Wilford was the Para commander who lied and lied and lied.

For years, he has justified all those murders. Lying about his soldiers being fired upon.
Mass murder and they have gotten away with it.

Why have there been no serious calls for retribution?
I think we all know why?

  9. Nuala hon dont go upsetting yourself, the dogs in the street know that Wilford wuz just obeying orders, and those who gave the orders!well hon Teeth Heath and rest of the Whitehall murder gang will never see the inside of a courtroom re their murderious activities here, mores the pity, but like Wilford ,the soldiers involved all thoses agents of the state, who have destroyed so many lives here they should be hounded to hell,in the same manner that Simon Wiesenthal the nazi hunter pursued those criminals, for at the end of the day criminals are what they are,but then Wiesenthal had the backing of the Israelie state, the watery shower of ass lickers in the Irish govt have neither the balls or will to standup for the citizens of this country

  10. Marty, I was delighted for the families.
Then, I began to think about it in real terms and I honestly believe they got away with cold blooded murder.

Must have been horrendous beyond belief for those people.
I was Mlltown, as were hundreds of people the day Stone attacked the funeral.
I remember how that felt. How must it have felt for the people of Derry on that sort of scale?

My da used to say (and I do not mean to offend anyone here)
That, per population the Irish suffered more than most of the other races we hear so much about.
Any yet, no-one was ever held accountable for anything that was ever done to us and I believe he was right.

Some years ago a friend of mine told me, that, even journalists such as John Pilger were threatened when trying to investigate the so called 'Irish Question'.

I think Brian Mor's depiction says it all, once more we were nailed to the cross.
