Still, a nation that has repeatedly called for the destruction in "Hell Fire" of another nation in the name of religious fundamentalism perhaps isn't the best custodians of a nuclear weapon. The Israeli fundies have many such weapons but haven't used them nor threatened to. If the Iranians had one there'd be a mushroom cloud over Tel Aviv. Time the ordinary people of both nations got rid of their dictorial governments.
ReplyDeleteIf Trump hadn't pulled the US out of the Five Power Agreement on Iran's nuclear resources in 2017, there could have been a peaceful outcome.
DeleteI'm not sure about that Barry. There was no nuclear threat from Iran according to US intelligence despite them not conforming with the nuclear watchdog requirements. To my mind this is a war about regional dominance with Israel seeking to be the regional hegemon while continuing to function as a beachhead for US foreign policy
