Mick Hall  organises his rage against European Economic Strategy.

Most European nations are going belly up economically due to following the diktat of Washington and its creature NATO when they decided to support a proxy war after Putin foolishly took the Empire's bait and invaded Ukraine.

These political morons piled up sanctions on Russia certain they would break its back both militarily and economically seemingly oblivious of the fact what goes around comes around.* No worries it will be all over by autumn TV news channels proclaimed in the spring, Russia will have been taught a lesson they will not forget and as a bonus it might even topple Putin.

Yes they claimed, we may all have to make sacrifices but it will be worth it in the long run. Of course those who came up with this cunning plan won’t be making any sacrifices nor will the prime ministers, cabinet members in the various European governments including the UK, or the opposition party leaders who in unison without any democratic debate or vote in their party put on khaki. They will never go without a meal, be fearful their utilities will be cut off, unable to pay the rent, put food on the table.

They will still be flying in private jets around the world pretending their solving Global warming and driving around in government limousines while looking down their snouts at us.**

As to those NATO generals, and their talking head journalists who support the war by spreading misinformation and hiding the truth, if there were any justice, alongside their masters they would be in jail.

Sadly we know this won’t happen. Not one of these war criminals on either side nor their political masters will be out of pocket let alone in jail. Indeed as is the way in wars they in all probability have been making a fortune out of this conflict.

It will be the least able to afford it, the working classes who will take the hit - ain’t that always the way!

* Blowback.

** Why anyone would want the Russian people to be taught a lesson is a mystery to me haven’t they had enough of these down the centuries?

  1. What stands out to me was the biggest lie of all - there was no war, just a special military operation. Why anybody on the Left wants to defend gangster capitalism Moscow style when its expansionism is in conflict with Western expansionism needs a lot of explaining. It is not that Russia took the bait, it is that it took another country via means of the Supreme International Crime. The attitude of the Left should be the same as it is in regards to Israeli occupation of Palestine. That will inevitably and necessarily place the Left in conflict with the Western powers. The Left should also oppose fascism in both Ukraine and Russia without using it as an excuse not to oppose Russia's war of aggression. Some on the Left unfortunately intimate that they subscribe to Marxist Czarism above all else.

    1. No 'war' but rather 'special military operations'? Maybe that meant they weren't going to level towns and cities like the West freedom bombers did and do? No 'shock and awe' tactics like heroic NATO has visited upon folk? Of course the deluded will believe that Russia hasn't meted out shock and awe purely cos they havnt the technology etc etc.
      p.s let's not forget the banderistas have been killing thousands of Russian speaking folk these last few yrs in what was known as eastern Ukraine. Backed up and egged on by CIA who despite all contrary evidence really only want peace in the world!
      P.p.s for the really deluded, last weeks panic at the White House re 'Russia bombed poland', should demonstrate that NATO isn't as tough/brave as it would like smaller countries think it was. I.e NATO has went to work over dodgier lies in the past but they rejected this lie in record time and that says it all.

    2. levelling towns and cities is what they have done. Even to the extent that one of their main expositors, John Mearsheimer, was uncharacteristically all over the place in the New Yorker when he acknowledged the current destruction of civilian infrastructure.

      The special military operation seemed as if it was a term devised by a Shinner type in the Kremlin so that the deluded and the apologists could keep on deluding themselves that it wasn't a war.

      Moscow and Kiev between them killed quite a lot of people in Eastern Ukraine. One of the few conflicts in modern time where the far right flocked from abroad to join both sides and accuse each other of being Nazis.

      Very little panic at the White House that I could see over the bombing in Poland. What was surprising was just how quick they were out of the traps to deny it was Russia, despite Zelensky insisting otherwise.

      Russian atrocity and Israeli atrocity - the West backs one and not the other. But that has been the story of Western foreign policy for yonks. And now we have them spoofing on a par with Putin in their attempts to get Mohammed bin Salman on the immunity ticket for the Khashoggi murder.
