Frankie Quinn with a poem from his book Open Gates.

She Said

One day when my face is long forgotten

You’ll remember it was I who loved you more

That day you’ll stop and wonder.

A photograph where the dust has blown away,

Revealing the smoothness that

Once belonged to you.

Then, I’ll remember

Perhaps it was you

Who loved me the more?
