Right Wing WatchTony Perkins Says Biden’s Agenda Is ‘Literally From the Pit of Hell.’

Family Research Council President Tony Perkins appeared at Calvary Chapel Chino Hills in California on Wednesday night for a conversation with right-wing pastor Jack Hibbs about current events.

Perkins kicked things off by declaring that the political agenda being enacted by President Joe Biden is “literally from the pit of hell” and warning that it will provoke God into unleashing his judgment upon this nation.

“These are challenging times” Perkins said. “The policies that are coming out of this administration are literally from the pit of hell.”

America is in a very, very, I would say, precarious situation,” he added. “We’ve seen idolatry in different forms, but now it is so blatant. We’re in the 11th hour and I believe America is in serious trouble. We are literally shaking our fists in the face of God and challenging God, ‘If you’re really God, you do something.’ And he is God, and he will do something. That’s why I believe it is incumbent upon the church—followers of Jesus Christ—to cry out for God’s mercy, and a move of his spirit like we’ve never seen before in this nation.

  1. The problem with Biden isn't that he annoys religious crackpots. The problem with Biden is through his hypocrisy, particularly on immigration, his foreign policies and obvious cognitive decline he could pave the for a Trump like politician with craft, decorum and eloquence. Which is a scary thought. As much as Trump's buffoonery was a gift to Democrats, Biden is a gift to Republicans. The man forgets what he is saying on live press conferences, if they can't exploit that, there's something wrong.

    1. They are far from being out of the woods. Trump might just have been of his time but what if the time is longer than Trump? We seriously risk getting what you fear.

    2. On the contrary Biden's billion dollar Covid stimulus package; his Green New Deal style economic plan and steady vaccine roll out among other policies offers the sort of programme to address the grievances of those (outside the cultural and religious wingnuts) who were attracted to Trump in the first place.

  2. Barry,
You seem to miss the point. You Sound entrenched in partisanship, I supported this candidate therefore must back him. Even in your comment you mention a stimulus package and don't mention it was lower than the one proposed by Trump or that the vaccine rollout had already begun.
In making this about being better than Trump and ignoring Biden's obvious flaws, you pave the way for a Republican President that is genuinely capable of what you feared Trump was.
