It has never been claimed by Christians or anyone else that Jesus wrote the Bible. The ignorance and lack of true knowledge deriving from the creator of this joke turns the laughter back on themselves, lol.
Actually, some millions of American evangelicals actually DO believe that Jesus literally wrote the Bible, and around the world that would probably be some 10s of millions. In fact, the most common answer given by average Christians to the question "Who wrote the Bible?" is "Jesus/God did." Yes, some don't mean that literally - they mean that the ultimate author or inspiration of the Bible was Jesus/God - but it is undeniable that around the world millions of ignorant Christians actually believe that Jesus literally or magically wrote the Bible. In America alone, many millions of evangelicals believe in the literal truth of Noah's Ark, or that the earth and the people on it are less than 6,000 years old, etc. If you can believe those things, then it's not a stretch to believe that Jesus/God "wrote the Bible."
Former IRA volunteer and ex-prisoner, spent 18 years in Long Kesh, 4 years on the blanket and no-wash/no work protests which led to the hunger strikes of the 80s. Completed PhD at Queens upon release from prison. Left the Republican Movement at the endorsement of the Good Friday Agreement, and went on to become a journalist. Co-founder of The Blanket, an online magazine that critically analyzed the Irish peace process. Lead researcher for the Belfast Project, an oral history of the Troubles.
