  1. Is bat flu the most intelligent bug known to mankind? It now knows if you visit another household you can be infected but stay in groups of 6 in your garden you are Ok but 7+ and you are fcuked... Have a pint before 10pm no probs, 1 min past and you will get infected...Can't see or visit family in their/your house but having a pub lunch with them and you are ok...

I refuse to buy into their (Gov) bullshit. i will break every social distance rule I am meant to abide by and I wont gimp up and wear a mask. Someone has to make a stand...

    1. Are you prepared to accept the possible consequences of not following social distancing abd mask wearing advice, Frankie.

I sincerely hope that you do not suffer any such but what you have just said is criminal irresponsibility. I don't suppose that the thousands of deaths arising from the transmission of Covi-19 through vulnerable groups like care residents, public service workers like bus drivers and BAME persons who work disproprtionately in those latter occupations.

Your crass ignorance of how viruses are transmitted long sidce lost its homourous tinge.

  2. Barry,

If you want to gimp up, do it...If you want to fall for the bullshit, be my guest. I live by my rules and not because a muppet in an Armani suit tell me to live by.

Bat flu...a man made concept like religion...

  3. Can anymore be said about covid at this point? We've been having the same arguments and counter arguments for six months now. It really boils down to this, if you want to adhere to Government guidelines do so, if you don't, don't.
Why is ethnicity an issue in every subject? Is there a directive informing people to bring it up even if it's nonsensical or is it posturing?
Regardless of what company you're in the same phrases and gotchas come up, is social media robbing people of their critical thinking skills?

  4. As the near death experience of Boris Johnson shows, there can be severe to fatal consequences for breaking the rules that are recommendced by the World Health Organisation and public health experts everywhere.

Frankie, since you obviously do not care about the consequences of living by your rules then one can only draw the conclusion that you are a potential menace to the health of everyone you interact with.

David, ethnicity comes up in the Covid discussion because the statistics show that it is BAMEs (as well as other poorer socio-economic groups) who have suffered disproportionately becaiuse of residecne in multi-generation accommodation settings and their employment in the lower rungs of the NHS.

  6. Barry,
That has nothing to do with the debate over covid restrictions.
