Radio Free Eireann will feature Bernadette Devlin McAliskey and Tommy McKearney on Saturday August 30th at 1pm New York time.
Bernadette will describe the plight of new immigrants in
Northern Ireland. Best known as a leader of the civil rights movement, she now
works with new immigrants.
Tommy will talk about the state of labor in Ireland today.
Formerly a blanket man and hunger striker, he is now an
organizer for the Independent Workers Union.
Radio Free Eireann is heard on WBAI 99.5 FM and wbai.org on the web where it is
archived for 10 days.
On Saturday we will broadcast from the WBAI studio at City
College. Next week we will be back home at Rocky Sullivan's of Red Hook. Even
