God Told Hank Kunneman That 'Gas Prices Are Going To Go Down'
Hank Kunneman is a Christian nationalist Trump cultist conspiracy theorist MAGA pastor who, despite a demonstrably lackluster record, declares himself to be a prophet of God.
In this capacity, Kunneman generally delivers two sorts of prophecies: Those that are conveniently open-ended and vague and those that are so laughably predictable as to be essentially useless. Both forms of prophecy serve Kunneman well by allowing him to claim credit whenever something resembling the predictable ones inevitably occur while also allowing him to insist that the vague, open-ended ones will eventually come true at some indeterminate point in the future.
Kunneman's gift for delivering self-serving prophecies was on full display last week when an episode of the "FlashPoint" program was broadcast from his church during his annual "Opening The Heavens" conference.
Terrified that Republicans could lose control of Congress in the midterm elections due in no small part to skyrocketing oil and gas prices stemming from the war that President Donald Trump started against Iran, Kunneman sought to use his prophetic gift, and some props, to assure nervous voters that God has promised that gas prices will fall.
