From McGuinness to O'Neill, Sinn Féin have constantly stated that they were determined to make the institutions in Stormont work.
That's exactly what the British want to hear.
The institutions have never worked for the people who elected the politicians who sit in them, nor will they ever work for the people.
They were only meant to give the impression that those self-serving politicians had a semblance of power.
Only recently Michelle O'Neill attended the 'Council of Nations' hosted by the British King Charles Windsor. The intended aim of which is to 'bring the leaders of the four nations' together to promote unity across the UK.
Why would any British government feel pressurised by those who serve their interests and theirs alone without fail?
