You’ll try anything to get people to pay attention to your book during that short period of time around when it’s published, but unless you’re already famous or have great connections, it’s rough.

In the case of convicted criminal-turned-Christian evangelist Katie Souza, she has a brilliant marketing plan to convince the most ignorant religious people to buy her new book about how aliens are engaged in “spiritual warfare ministry”: Just tell everyone that aliens stole her eggs in order to create half-alien-half-human hybrids.
