On Monday night's edition of the Christian nationalist program "FlashPoint," host Gene Bailey and his guests discussed the "No Kings" rallies that took place all over the country last weekend during which millions of Americans turned out to protest the Trump administration's increasing authoritarianism.

Bailey and guests dismissed the significance of the protests and declared that America does in fact have a king: Jesus Christ.

"We do have a king," Bailey declared. "We do worship that king, and the government rests at his feet."

Right-wing commentator Ed Rush agreed, proclaiming that God has made Christians "kings on the earth" who are to be "in charge of everything."

"Not only do we have a king, but we have the King of Kings," Rush said.

Not only do we serve the Lord, but we serve the Lord of Lords. I quoted Isaiah 9:7 a little bit earlier—'of the increase of his government and of his peace there will be no end'—and basically what that tells you is that no matter what, He is increasing his government and his peace.
