Keepers
We are the giver of light
Showered with gifts of delight
Talking is forbidden in pauses
In conversations no one must know causes
For skipping between cobblestone pleasures.

Sharing with friends is forbidden.
Together we visit places that are hidden
Becoming closer to sunset is forgiven
As night draws, blankets are given
By those people who roll their eyes toward heaven.
♞♜♝
They meet between keepers of silence
Who preferred to help desire’s reliance?
By comforting their thoughts of resistance
They build trust between each with assistance
Of those who keep names with persistence.
