Christian nationalists gathered in Alabama last week for a two-day "FlashPoint Live" event held at Pathway Church in Mobile.
Organized by "FlashPoint" host Gene Bailey, the Saturday session featured a sermon delivered by Pathway's own MAGA pastor Travis Johnson, who has close ties to presidential faith adviser Paula White and her White House Faith office.
Johnson began his remarks by announcing his Christian nationalist agenda loud and clear.
"We don't need progressive Christianity and we don't need Christless conservatism," Johnson told the audience. "We didn't come in here to phone it in or to make a little splash. We came in here in the power of the Holy Spirit and in the name of Jesus, and we didn't come to make a splash; we came in to take over."
"We want our families, we want our churches, we want our city, we want our state, we want our nation," Johnson declared. "Lord, give us this world for the name and the sake of Jesus Christ."

Bailey, for his part, was recently named to President Donald Trump’s “Religious Liberty Commission.”
