Two Nazi Jewish Boys

Anthony McIntyre ☠ Saturday again saw us assemble in Drogheda's West Street to protest the ongoing genocide in Gaza.

At the vigil Stephanie Kirwan, as she frequently does, called for an immediate ceasefire, and appealed to the Irish government to enact the Occupied Territories Bill which would ban “trade with and economic support for illegal settlements in territories deemed occupied under international law”.

It is a weekly routine which we do not have to work at to prevent routinisation setting in, something that is done without much reflection or purpose. We are compelled to reflect on our purpose almost every day when news emerges of the latest Israeli atrocity and the US mitigation for it. Last night 40 people sheltering in a tented encampment were massacred near Khan Younis in Southern Gaza.

Since our last vigil Israelis, in addition to murdering numerous Palestinians in the West Bank and Gaza on top of killing a number of people in Syria, shot dead US citizen Aysenur Ezgi Eygi in the West Bank. As with the Israeli murder of US citizen Rachel Corrie 22 years ago, the White |House that trumpets its determination to go after those who kill Americans, will do absolutely nothing but send more arms for more murder missions.

Israel has from the outset sought to justify its genocide by denying that it is actually committing genocide. This is the deflection strategy that it is now pursuing in a bid to have South Africa withdraw its genocide case currently before the International Court of Justice.

Meanwhile, the public advocacy for a war of extermination continues unabated. There is an Israeli podcast co-hosted by Naor Meningher and Eytan Weinstein. Erroneously titled Two Nice Jewish Boys, it purports to be the longest running Israeli podcast in English. It is unashamedly racist and supremacist, urging a genocidal Holocaust to be inflicted on the Palestinians.

The podcast is not the output of two marginalised religious cranks far removed from Israeli mainstream politics:

CBC journalist Evan Dyer shared the clip on X, pointing to Meningher’s former media roles in Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s last five political campaigns.

Jewish Voice For Labour likened the podcast to Radio Rwanda, a station that under Valérie Bemeriki and others, was known as Radio Hate and proved instrumental in coordinating the 1994 Hutu genocide against the Tutsis.

A mainstream Israeli podcast called “Two Nice Jewish Boys” has blown the gaffe on Israel’s paper-thin veneer of civilised liberalism by broadcasting, with full-throated approval, calls for erasing every living being in Gaza and the West Bank.

The British journalist and podcaster Owen Jones in his own podcast describing the output from Two Nice Jewish Boys as one of the most disturbing things he has heard during the course of the genocide - and there have been many - labels both hosts 'genocidal maniacs.' The following is a sample of what they were saying:

instil sovereignty over and annex the West Bank, Gaza… make it all Israel . . . If you gave me a button to just erase Gaza, every single living being in Gaza would no longer be living tomorrow, I would press it in a second . . . Forgive us if we don’t give a shit if everybody there dies. It’s just the way we feel. It’s just the way Israelis feel . . . It’s unclear to me, why do we give this humanitarian relief when our hostages never saw a Red Cross? . . . The baby that’s born in Gaza is technically innocent, I could give zero fucks, I don’t care if he gets polio . . . It’s nice to know that you are dancing in the concert while hundreds of thousands of Gazans are homeless, sitting in a tent … makes it even better. A more enjoyable concert . . . people enjoy knowing that they are suffering.

Jones who as a general rule refrains from comparing Israeli policies in the Occupied Territories nailed both co-hosts as Nazis. It is hard to imagine a more Nazi-like barbarism than that revelled in by these Two Nazi Jewish Boys, their:

complete comfort and ease with which the most obscene and insane things are casually said . . . laugh and giggle as they describe the final extermination of the Palestinian people.

Owen Jones describes Gaza as an area the size of East London which has been subject to the equivalent of numerous Hiroshima bombs. In the midst of it we have two mainstream Israeli monsters rooting and cheering it on. As evil as anything the Nazis ever produced, Israel's own Julius Streicher twins.
