Wooden
She sat at the bar, put her elbow on the counter
And became wood
Everyone walked past and said
Look there’s a wooden woman.

She began to dissolve and ran like water.
He tried to stop it with his hands but she
Cascaded through his fingers, over his knees

And on to the floor, he cried and cried.
Why has she done this?
The people all stood up
Pointed their fingers and said
♞♜♝
Because she loved you.
