There is a report of one Irish Bandera/fascist killed among a hive of other foreign mercenaries; he is Alex Ryzhuk, 19 yrs old, callsign Junior, from Dublin, Ireland, who reportedly joined the Nazi AZOV brigade in 2023.
The region is sparsely populated with no strategic importance in terms of altering the impending defeat of the Ukrainian/NATO-proxy army. However it is clear at this time that the Kiev regime, under NATO direction, had intended to seize a nuclear power station in the Kursk region but have failed, with up to three thousand Ukrainian and other foreign fascist mercenaries having been killed.
The criminal Kiev regime has been attempting to create a nuclear catastrophe by shelling the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant now under the control of the Russian army. By seizing the nuclear power plant in Kursk the Ukrainian/NATO planners had hoped to have gained serious leverage to threaten Russia with. It is part of their ongoing lying propaganda campaign supported by the Western mainstream media lies, who actually report on Zaporizhzhia fighting ongoing around the plant: and, ridiculously, the Russians are shelling themselves.
The incursion by the NATO proxy is being hailed by all Western media as a great military advance and humiliation for Russia to which they invariably use the metonym, “Putin”, seldom referring to the President of Russia as President Putin. Among the false reportage is of course RTE, Ireland’s pro-NATO, pro-Unionist national broadcaster. Written by their news correspondent Fiona Mitchell - who reports a series of inaccuracies and distortions in accordance with the pro-NATO policy of RTE - saying hundreds of thousands of Russians are having to be evacuated, when in fact the number is twenty-thousand in an area twice the size of an Irish province. Mitchell herself is a longstanding RTE hack, married to a BBC journalist, and is accordingly well used to RTE’s contempt for any truth-telling when it comes to reporting on matters close to the hearts of US/UK and their Irish political subalterns.
The invasion by the Ukrainian/NATO forces represents a clear marker in the push for world-war three by the Western powers who control the Kiev regime. NATO led by the US/UK are demonstrating their intention to sacrifice the population of Ukraine as dispensable proxies in their blind hatred and hostility towards Russia and China or any country challenging their economic dominance as they inexorably decline. They are the power behind the Israeli genocide of Gaza, which is also what they openly aspire to impose on Russia.

But no amount of false propaganda by the mainstream media will defeat Russia or China, or the other centres of Resistance shaping in the middle-east and worldwide. And it is likely in the circumstances that it will provoke corresponding political crises for the Western powers, their subalterns such as the Irish government and their pro-imperialist, fake-opposition.

DeleteNATO was formed in 1949 to oppose a fictitious enemy, the Soviet Union. It was the Red Army who led the initiative in defeating Nazi Germany followed by countries, primarily the USA and Britain at D. Day, two gangs who would go on to be leading NATO members. The Warsaw Pact was formed six years later in opposition to the US initiative which was and is NATO. NATO knew they could not conventionally defeat militarily the Warsaw Pact which, when the USSR collapsed, fell apart. The USSR were too strong militarily to defeat in the field and it was the Soviet Union who were the backbone of the Warsaw Pact. Modern Russia is not in any way the Soviet Union, many of whose soldiers in the Red Army were Ukrainian, Georgian, and from Belarus. NATO have wanted to get into Russia for decades even predating the formation of the group western European countries going back to Napoleon, then Britain in the Crimean War and then, of course Hitler have all wanted to get into Russia. All have failed.
ReplyDeleteThis time it is a little different. Putin, one of Boris Yeltsin's lieutenants in collapsing the USSR, has aided NATO. He sent his, quite obviously ill equipped, army into the Ukraine expecting no resistance. His arguments for doing so did hold water, his fear of NATO expansion fueled by the lies NATO had told in the past, and the claim Ukraine harboured fascists, a claim supported by Volodymy Zelenskyy's use of the Azov Regiment who, in their own words, model themselves "on the Das Reich Regiment of the Waffen SS". so, his arguments did and do add up to a point.
Whether invasion was the correct form of action is certainly questionable to say the least. His armed forces were clearly ill equipped and, if western reports are to be believed, are losing. Secondly, and equally important, he has given NATO a testing ground to use their weapons without sending "boots on the ground".
The modern Russian Army are not the Soviet Army by any stretch, they are a shadow of it. Not only are they are a shadow of it they are in fact fighting against troops who would have once being among the best soldiers in the Red Army. Vladimir Putin and his boss, Boris Yeltsin, were instrumental in the collapse of the USSR. Yeltsin could not bear being number two to Soviet leader, Mikhail Gorbachev while he was only the President of Russia. So, no USSR, no Gorbachev! Logical really. Putin may have believed his army was the Red Army which defeated the Nazis but he could not have been more wrong. Ukrainian troops, with NATO weapons are if anything winning. They are, as NATO want, inside Russian territory while the Russians, using chiefly drones, are making moderate advances into Ukraine. When it comes to army against army the Ukrainians are more than a match. It was criminal of Putin to send ill prepared, ill equipped soldiers to war. Putin's concerns about NATO are more than ever before now a major threat thanks to his own incompetence and bad strategies. All he has left is his nuclear arsenal, the largest of any single country in the world and not much short of the combined NATO stock. This leads us down a very dangerous avenue indeed, one barely worth thinking about!!

I don't concur that the Soviets were a fictitious enemy; they were a serious ideological opponent of Western capitalism and both forces were always going to be pitched against each other at some point. The West won the Cold War which helped precipitate the collapse of the USSR resulting in the current right wing capitalist regime that is in place. Animal Farm - great little book!!

I am astonished that people who have lived through NATO driven lies in the media for years still heed their lies nowadays. We teach our kids never trust a liar but some adults keep going back to them for the 'truth'. I even read in a letter in the Vatican times from some dude urging a NATO peacekeeping force should be introduced in Ukraine.......like ffs does he not realise NATO is in Ukraine already directing everything? For the hard of hearing, NATO had the opportunity to put feet on the ground in Ukraine at the onset of this conflict I.e they had public opinion on their side. The reason they didn't is they knew it would be bloody mayhem for them rather than the usual shock and awe and the enemy surrender. What we have now is NATO trying to stall and scupper Russia as they inevitably achieve the mission they declared at the very start which wasn't contrary to western media the taking of Ukraine but rather the securement of the pro Russian east of Ukraine. And God speed they achieve that aim as there will be millions of citizens in that area at the mercy of the pro nazi battalions of Ukraine if they don't. Slava Rossiya!

ReplyDeleteThey are certainly involved in the conflict Barry, and not because they are concerned about Russian war crimes or harbour a principled objection to expansionism.
DeleteThe odd thing about seeing only Ukraine as Nazis is that during the fighting in Donbas prior to the Russian invasion, the Nazis were fighting on each side - for the Russians and against them. Azov's hero was Putin. In the West Putin draws most of his sympathy from the far right which is closer to the Nazis than any other political entity.
If the Russian invasion was a humanitarian military intervention it would be the first time in history that a capitalist power has made such an intervention. It is always self interest, never humanitarian. Even the Indian intervention in the 1971 conflict between East and West Pakistan was not guided by humanitarian concerns but by its own strategic interests in the region which included weakening the Pakistani government.
What has made people even more wary of Ukraine is the fact that Russia's behavior in Ukraine is much less savage than Israel's in Gaza yet the dominant force within NATO continues to arm the genocide. If it was the Israelis invading Ukraine, NATO would not lift a finger to help Ukraine but would be arming their invaders.
Last time I checked Ukraine is neither a member of NATO or the EU and their applications to join both have been rejected. But Sweden and Finland have joined NATO thanks to Putin's blatant and illegal land grab on Ukraine.

REALLY? I don't believe you. Have you any evidence to substantiate this?
Джон Патрик - it is while since I came across it. As far as I remember the source was a critic of Azov but was interviewing them. I don't think they were a supporter of Russia either. It came out during the interview and the interviewer was trying to show how all over the place and confused Azov actually was. When I get time I'll have a look for it again and send it on.
