Ahhhh, so here we go again.

Just a couple of days to go until the people of Fermanagh & South Tyrone are yet again to take to the polls to see which particular representative is to repress us on behalf of their imperialist masters. 

Hearing through the grapevine that there are only two messages on the doorsteps, could we guess what they are? 

Knock! knock!! 

Good evening, we're just out doing a bit of canvassing. 

Yes, i'm registered to vote. 

OK, great stuff, don't forget to vote for us as you don't want to see a Fenian take the seat. An IRA sympathiser!! 

Yes, OK, but when you're here, what about the state of the healthcare system? 

Yes, when we get elected, we will sort everything out. 

Thanks folks you always have my vote! (Silently thinking) even tho i'm still living in poverty. Anyways I don't care as long as Ulster remains British and our wee country Norn Iron remains a sectarian cesspit ... Orange poverty is better than green poverty!

Good evening, yes, it's us again. We know we have your vote, but don't forget to turn out on Thursday as you don't want to see a daughter of Harry West elected. This is the seat of Bobby Sands. 

OK, but your party has held that seat numerous times, but what have you done with it? Ehhhh  

Look at our rural towns! Doctors surgeries closing, towns like here in Lisnaskea, who had 3 banks now have no bank. The roads are horrendous, yet road tax increases every year.... 

Emmmm, that is the Tories' fault. 

Ok, but you implement Tory policies and have for decades been endorsing neo liberal Thatcherite austerity. 

We don't really know what you mean as we're just canvassers. But all that will be sorted in the new agreed Ireland. Ye know the one we're discussing on podiums with civic nationalism?! 

Ahhh, OK, you have my vote. Just a thought! 

What if people actually voted according to their class interests and we had politicians who managed the country on behalf of the people who live in it instead of managing it on behalf of the exploiter vulture class?

Are the above paragraphs what James Connolly meant when he stated ruling by fooling is a great English art with great Irish fools to practice on? Time For An Alternative To The Failed Representative Democracy Style Of Top Down Politics!!

Orrrrrrrr, we can always keep doing the same old thing and getting the same old outcomes. If so, don't complain about not being able to see a doctor, not being able to get a house, the cost of fuel, house rent, vehicle insurance, wages, etc..... Remember, it's you, the people who vote these clowns into government
