Frankie Quinn with a poem from his book Open Gates.

I walked along the street naked
I stopped a woman and asked her
Where I was going.
She pointed to the sea and said
In there, I expect.
♞♜♝
I walked on, then I stopped a man
And asked him where I was going.
He pointed to the mountains and said
Up there, I expect.
♞♜♝
I stood in the middle of the street
And screamed
Where are my fucking clothes?
All the people stopped glared at
Me and shouted
We haven’t given you any yet.
