Sir Keir Starmer is the type of man you cannot trust with your pocket money let alone a political party.

He makes promises and then reneges on them,* a neo liberal rogue if ever there was one.

As Corbyn Labour’s front man for staying in the EU he had been buzzing around like a blue arse fly telling LP members and Remainers to continue to campaign against leaving the EU. Now he is proposing Labour MPs - and presumably members - support any Brexit deal Boris Johnson cobbles together. Consistency is obviously less important to him than brown nosing power.

How he is going to defeat Johnson by hanging on to his coat-tails is a mystery to me. You could almost conclude he has been put in place to sabotage any hope of a Labour government being elected, à la Lord Kinnock.

Since he became leader of the LP he has a history of tying it to the Tory wheel, rather than doing his job as leader of the opposition and ripping them apart when they’re at their most vulnerable due to the continuous mistakes Johnson has made over combating Covid-19.

Beyond the pandemic Starmer has also fallen short. He failed to oppose a number of Tory bills as they passed though parliament two of which were draconian.

He refused to vote against the Covert Human Intelligence Sources (CHIS) Bill, also known as the “spy cops bill” which will give immunity to British state agencies including MI5 and other security services, NCA, police, HMRC, HM Forces and ten other public authorities who will be able to authorise criminal conduct. What this bill in reality means is government agencies can bug, burgle, commit any crime on the statute book up to and including murder without fear of any sanctions or come backs.

The second bill he refused to vote against was the Overseas Operations (Service Personnel and Veterans) Bill. Amnesty International summed up this bill perfectly:

In placing the actions of soldiers above the law, the Government is implying our armed forces need impunity for allegations of torture and war crimes and that we think it’s OK to grant them that.
Such a move sends conflicting messages internationally. How on earth can we call on countries like Sri Lanka to implement justice for war crimes from 2009 when we have instituted a defacto statute of limitations ourselves?

This Bill makes for bad law, and a worse example, it should be strongly opposed.”

So much for his supporters and their useful idiots nonsensical claim Starmer is a protector of human rights and they will be safe in his hands!

* He promised to re-unite the LP instead he split it asunder.

He's called Sir Keir Starmer for a reason. Westminster is effectively a one party entity with a totally compliant/complicit non opposition backed up by an obedient psycophantic media 24/7 propaganda machine. You don't have to worry about the shadowy world of spooks the regular peelers are kicking in doors and intimidating people in the guise of saving lives from the flu. Covid19 or covid 1.5..covid/flu it is with a 99.7 percent survival rate. The cynicism of the Tory Party getting the slaves to stand at their doors and applaud an NHS it has deliberately ravaged and decimated was as inspired as Churchill declaring Dunkirk a great victory. The tory Party wants rid of the NHS they are not saving it. Old fragile people are going into hospitals free of the flu, getting it while in there and dying. The NHS is an infection riddled death trap. One woman in her 70s in need of important non flu attention had to go private and was seen to immediately. Perhaps the real Tory battle cry should be "fuck the NHS shut it to the hell down it's a death trap...private medical insurance is the future and selling your little Thatcher terraced houses to save yer granny is the real plan". UNICEF just donated 25,000 sterling to feed starving kids in london and Rees Mog worth an estimated 100 million called it a political stunt. It's a little England East German Stazi state coming right up. One pub chain and no high street no choice no travel abroad. Keep voting Tory Best of British.
