Seán Heuston Society To Host Liz Gillis For Talk On Irish Civil War

The 1916 Societies are hosting a talk this afternoon in Dublin about an aspect of the Irish Civil War.

This Saturday sees the monthly educational talk organised by the Seán Heuston Society Dublin.

Liz Gillis returns to give a talk on ‘the fall of Dublin in the Civil War (1922-23)’ and the domino effect it had on the rest of the country.

It will take place in the National History Museum, formerly Collins Barracks, in front of the Croppies Acre at 1pm. Liz is a respected author who has written a book on the subject along with ‘Women of the Irish Revolution’ and always gives informative interactive talks.

All welcome. For more information contact the Seán Heuston Society on Facebook or Twitter. Alternatively you can get in touch through this site.
