That would make for a good opportunity to allow a lot of stuff to go missing in transit -then the PSNI will claim to have handed over all it had -and the HIU will deny it received it -and there would never be a solution to whose fault it would be -not forgetting that the evidence would be lost forever.
If the cops really were being genuine then why have they never produced this stuff in the past when judges have asked them to??
