This Saturday, 22nd August, Dublin 1916 Societies are holding their monthly educational talk, with executed 1916 leader Michael Mallin’s grand-nephew giving a talk on his life.
Having previously given a talk on Free State revisionism of 1916, how it is used to distort the memory of the Rising’s participants, we know from experience it will be well worth the listen. This time around will see him address the complex character that was Michael Mallin.
The talk again will be in the National History Museum (formerly Collins Barracks) and is this Saturday, August 22nd at 3pm. If travelling via the LUAS please get off at the Museum stop. All are welcome.
