Christy Walsh Hunger Strike: Day 29

Christy Walsh on Day 29 of his hunger strike with a copy of an email he sent this morning to Stormont First Minister Peter Robinson and his deputy, Martin McGuinness.

Dear Messrs Robinson and McGuinness

Today marks my 29th day on Hunger-strike and still neither of you have responded to reasonable requests.

David Ford acted in the capacity of a Tribunal of Law when determining my guilt based upon the false evidence manufactured by the prosecutor.  In fact, David Ford manufactured his own false forensic evidence and lied to the Court even though he has no such evidence.    Since 2010 David Ford's lawyers have been simultaneously representing the Crown Prosecutor, Mr Gary McCrudden, and the PSNI in common cause against me.   David Ford cared nothing of the conflict of interest.

I complained to David Ford that in representing the Crown Prosecutor, Mr Gary McCrudden, who he was supposed to be investigating,  amounted to collusion.    In his letter dated 11th July 2011 David Ford responded: "I wish to refute absolutely your suggestion that I have colluded with the police and prosecution to deny you justice." (Here)

On the 30th October 2012 Mr Justice Weatherup instructed David Ford to reconsider the obvious conflict of interest.  His Honour pointed out to David Ford that he had to pay heed to outside influences causing him to make the wrong decisions, I quote:

[13] The applicant made a further written submission which emphasised the need for the independence and impartiality of a tribunal for the purposes of a fair hearing under article 6 of the European Convention on Human Rights. ( see para. 13 of Judgment (Here))
His Honour directed David Ford to observe my Article 6 Convention rights and referred him to a Judgment of the European Court of Human Rights that states:

13. The Court reiterates that, in order to establish whether a tribunal can be considered “independent”, regard must be had, inter alia, to the manner of appointment of its members and their term of office, the existence of guarantees against outside pressures and the question whether the body presents an appearance of independence. (Here)

Neither the domestic law, international human rights law nor the Judiciary have any sway over David Ford because he is hell bent on covering up serious corruption and prosecutorial misconduct.

Peter Robinson and Martin McGuinness, it seems clear that you have both decided that covering up for the professional misconduct of David Ford is worth my life.

Conversely, I am not going to be criminalized by either one of you anymore than I have accepted from the Diplock Court's or David Ford.

Yours Sincerely
Christy Walsh
