On Saturday, August 2 at 1 pm New York time Kate Nash, whose
brother William was murdered by British paratroopers on Bloody Sunday, will be
on Radio Free Eireann to expose a plan by the Museum of Free Derry to erect a
memorial garden to British soldiers.
Tom Kelly of the Bogside Artists will reveal that the museum
is also planning to hide their civil rights mural.
Larry Kirwan of Black 47 will talk about the band's
triumphal return to the NY Mets' Irish Night.
Radio Free Eireann can be heard Saturdays at 1 pm New York
time on WBAI 99.5 FM and wbai.org on the web. We
broadcast live from Rocky Sullivan's of Red Hook, 34 Van Dyke Street in
Brooklyn.
This Saturday, we will continue to seek donations to keep
WBAI and Radio Free Eireann on the air. We will thank anyone who can pledge $75
with a cd "Great Irish Speeches." The number to call to
contribute is 212 209 2950.
This is utterly shocking, I hope dog walkers make good use of it.
