From Terrorist to Kidnap Victim

How does a special forces soldier become a kidnap victim? When Benny Netanyahu puts his kippah on and plays the victims card.

A piece from Mick Hall that featured on his blog Organised Rage on 5 August 2014. Mick Hall has spent much of his life immersed in Marxist political activism and is a frequent commentator on political issues.

It is we the workers who built these palaces and cities here in Spain and in America and everywhere. We, the workers, can build others to take their place. And better ones! We are not in the least afraid of ruins."--Buenaventura Durruti.

During WW1, which the class prejudiced moron in 10 Downing Street deems we should all be commemorating, the British army used snatch squads to go out across no man's land to capture German soldiers These prisoners where then brought back behind the British lines and interrogated by army intelligence after which they became POWs.

If they had been wounded they may have even found themselves part of a prisoner exchange arranged by the Red Cross or some other intermediary.

These type of prisoner exchanges have occurred in almost every war since Roman times and continue right up to this day. All it needs is a trusted intermediary, and for both sides to keep their side of any bargain which resulted in a prisoner exchange. Sadly when Israel exchanged 1,000 Palestinian prisoners in exchange for captured Israeli soldier Gilad Shalit, it broke its side of the bargain by rearresting hundreds of these prisoners shortly after Shalit was released by Hamas.

Thus Israel must know if such an exchange is proposed again Hamas is unlikely to agree, unless that is there is something beneficial to the Palestinian people placed on the table. I can think of only one thing which might be acceptable, the lifting of the blockade of Gaza. So it is hardly surprising Netanyahu's very own lying machine, Mark Regev, is briefing the western media there will be no deal with Hamas as they cannot be trusted.

Just to be clear no matter what Israel and the mainstream media might claim, Hamas have never kidnapped any Israeli soldier. It's not them who are guilty of this type of crime, its Israel, as people like Mordechai Vanunu know only to well. Yet still Israeli spokespeople like Regev propagate this lie.

Under all the so called civilised norms of war, a soldier cannot be deemed a kidnap victim when they have been captured on the field of battle. The very idea is preposterous. Although not to preposterous for the US and UK media to report it as fact after Israeli officials claimed last Friday Lieutenant Hadar Goldin, a 23-year-old special forces soldier had been kidnapped by a Palestinian group, probably members of the Qassam Brigades. The exact time this alledgedly took place they did not say, but what seems to have occurred is shortly before the ceasefire was due to start, the IDF continued to search the tunnels near Rafa, and stumbled across a Palestinian unit. A firefight took place with dead and wounded on both sides. The IDF responded with a fierce bombardment and Lieutenant Goldin and the Palestinian unit were all killed.

Without knowing the full facts on the ground, later that day Barack Obama said: "Hamas should be held responsible for the collapse of the ceasefire and demanded that the militant group immediately release Goldin."

If attacked the Qassam Brigades (QB) had every right to defend themselves, ceasefire or not, as too did the members of the IDF. Indeed what were the Qassam Brigades meant to do, lay down their weapons, surrender and die?

Early last Saturday, the Hamas military wing the Qassam Brigades said in a statement posted on its website that it was "not aware of the whereabouts of Lieutenant Hadar Goldin or the circumstances of his disappearance" Hamas itself said due to the military situation in Gaza it has lost all contact with the Qassam Brigades.

It now turns out they were speaking the truth unlike Benjamin Netanyahu, who lashed out wildly, raining even more death and destruction upon the Palestinian people. Since the Israelis resumed their attacks on Friday morning over 150 people in Rafah alone have been killed and hundreds more injured, bringing the overall total of Palestinian dead to over 1,700.

That is well over five times the number killed on Malaysia Airlines flight MH17 which resulted in the USA and EU placing ever harsher sanction on Putin's Russia for being 'associated' with this crime. Yet when it comes to Palestinian deaths which the Israeli military are culpable of we hear mere platitudes coming out of London, Paris, Berlin and Washington, when we need talk of implementing tough sanctions against Israel.

But it's worse than this alone, for what Obama, Cameron, Holland and Merkel and there media gofers have attempted to do is turn Israel's Palestinian victims into the aggressors.

We the people must act

When for decades western leaders failed to act against, or supported the abomination which was the South African apartheid state, around the world ordinary men and women were forced to act alone. A campaign of sanctions, and boycotts was organised which worked in tandem with the ANC and played an important role in placing that racist state into the dustbin of history.

Today we are facing a similar situation, with Western leaders either bankrolling, arming, or acquiescing to the rogue state of Israel we the people must act. Only by making Israel a pariah nation will its people see sense and act against its current leadership which has brought shame on their nation and race.

  1. Mick I agree with a lot of what you said but I'm at a loss as to why no one goes after the USA and boycotts their goods and services.

Without America propping up Israel and constantly re-arming them nothing much will change.
