Radio Free Eireann will interview Eamonn McCann on the
racist attacks against immigrants in Belfast on Saturday June 7th from 1-2 pm
New York time. He will be coming directly from what should be a huge rally
against racism organized by the Irish Conference of Trade Unions and Amnesty
International.
We will continue to seek the money needed to keep WBAI and
Radio Free Eireann on the air. Anyone who gives $75 will be thanked with a copy
of The Spirit of Resistance - a History of Physical Force Republicanism in
Ireland and America. Donations in any amount are needed and much appreciated.
Radio Free Eireann is heard on WBAI 99.5FM and wbai.org on the web wher the show is archived for 10
days. We broadcast live from Rocky Sullivan's of Red Hook 34 Van Dyke Street in
Brooklyn.

I see there was a racist attack in West Belfast. You'd think the Irish would be tolerant (if tolerant is the right word) what with the huge Irish diaspora. At least a bit of empathy towards migrants rather than copying the UVF's latest gameplan.
