Radio Free Eireann will interview Ed Moloney about the arrest of former IRA Chief of Staff Ivor Bell and Margaretta D'Arcy about her three month prison sentence for protesting against US warplanes at Shannon on Saturday March 29 starting at 1 pm New York time.


Ed Moloney was the director of the Belfast Project an oral history of the troubles. Ivor Bell has been charged with complicity to murder Jean McConville on the basis of interviews he allegedly did with the Belfast Project.

Margaretta D'Arcy was released from Dublin's Mountjoy prison last Saturday. She sat down on the Shannon runway to protest the US warplanes that use the airport. D'Arcy is a peace activist, actor and playwright. She previously served time in Armagh Women's Prison in the North as a result of a protest
for women political prisoners.
