Remembering @ Christmas

We were honoured to receive a Christmas card from a family who lost a loved one to British state killers during the Ballymurphy Massacre.

In wishing all our readers a Merry Christmas we are mindful that many have been deprived of the presence of loved ones through the actions of licenced British State killers.

  1. It's reasonable to remark that 2016 wasn't the year of unfinished business it was the year of business as usual. Watching others strive for independence whilst Ireland's left behind
I've read some hilarious takes on Brexit,Trump etc from those tasked with building Ireland own independence movement. Maybe a New Years resolution of actually listening to your 'opponents' rather than supposing what you think they actually mean is in order.its really very simple: just listen.

  2. Happy Christmas to you and yours Tony. David, that 'business as usual' analogy was an apt comment if ever there were one to describe what many suggested would be a watershed year in Ireland. If only...

  3. Sean the best piece of career advice I've been given applies here:it's better to under promise but over deliver (than the opposite). Or maybe I'm just adding to litany of aphorisms that pollute Republicanism.

  4. Ps thanks to the Quill for the Christmas card. Much appreciated.
