On Sunday, September 8, at 1 p.m. they will pay their respects at the mass grave at Kilkeevin Cemetery, Castlerea, Co. Roscommon.

At 2 p.m. they will pay their respects at the site of Lisnabinnia Village, and at 3 p.m. at Lisnabinnia’s mass grave.

Both Lisnabinnia monuments are in Ballyglass, Ballymoe, Co. Galway. One (for the once-village) is on the Ballymoe/Glenamaddy roadside, the other (its mass grave) a few fields away.

The pilgrimage will end after the 4 p.m. payment of respects at the mass grave in Kilbegnet Cemetery’s later addition. Kilbegnet cemetery is near Creggs, Co. Galway.

The news media and the public are welcome to join the humble American delegation to honor these Irish souls.
