From the Irish Times a piece by Wendy Lyon challenging the views of TD Noel Grealish.

The recent comments by TD Noel Grealish about a proposal to open a direct provision centre in Oughterard, Co Galway, highlighted the negative impressions many people have about those who come to Ireland as asylum seekers.

Unfortunately, they also highlight that much of the controversy around asylum seekers is driven by myths and misinformation. As a solicitor practising in this area, I regularly hear claims that I can state from both knowledge and experience are simply untrue. It’s time to explode some of these myths, and set the record straight about asylum seekers in Ireland.

Myth No 1: The high refusal rate shows that most asylum seekers are “bogus”

In order to receive a declaration of refugee status, an applicant must show that her fear of persecution stems from a Refugee Convention ground: race, religion, nationality, political opinion, or membership of a particular social group. A person can face a genuine threat to their life, but if it is not based on one of these categories, their claim must be refused.

Noel Grealish’s Views Of Asylum Seekers Are Based On Myth

  1. Well, at least she tells us straight away that she is a "solicitor practising in this area." So no conflict of interest there obviously! This parasitic class has made a fortune from the 'refugee' swindle. One ex-minister's (Barry Andrews) wife who is a solicitor has pulled in no less than one million euros over the last five years thanks to the 'refugee' industry. From our tax. Its a complete swindle. The appeals go on and on and on and the legal eagles make a killing. That's why they want this gravy train to keep running full steam ahead. Also, I wonder is Wendy Lyon willing to tell us how much she has made out of this international racket.

Genuine asylum seekers are victims of the great mass-immigration swindle now sweeping europe and Ireland in particular. It is a back-door migration system. Most of the 'refugees ' coming here are from countries not experiencing war. Georgia and Albania had the most 'refugees' coming here in 2018. What are they fleeing from can anyone tell me? No families either. No women. No old men. Just young men. Why is that folks? Cheap labour for the capitalist class perhaps? Pakistan is in fifth position. That country has an actual Space Program ffs.  Its a con and these parasitic solicitors are cleaning up. And you can bet your bottom dollar they dont want any refugee centres in their leafy suburbs either. Hypocrites. The Sorosites running the 'refugee' NGOs are another equally mendacious bunch of chancers profiteering from the great mass-immigration swindle. As are the hoteliers running the centres. Gombeenery to the nth degree.

The Irish are heading to be an ethnic minority in their own country within a few decades.  Who'd a thought that back when the IRA dumped arms not that long ago!

I managed to find Wendy's Irish Times article in full online just there. I noticed Wendy mention the terrible back stories some of her clients have and the suffering they have gone through. But is Wendy aware of the coaching some 'refugees' receive from NGO's? Here is a clip of one NGO officer (CEO to be precise) talking about how to get 'refugees' to lie about their past to gain asylum. Obviously the lady didn't realise she was being secretly filmed and that the man asking the questions was not a new employee into her NGO racket, but an undercover journalist. My advice to Wendy is to not believe everything an economic migrant/refugee tells her.

    Here is an excerpt

The NGO this lady worked for was set up to supply legal aid to asylum seekers operating throughout the EU and middle east. Any comment from the profiteering Irish legal eagles on this outrageous deception?

Believe it or not, the NGO this lady worked for initially said that the above clip was right wing propaganda! Sound familair! They have since disappeared and removed their website, twitter account etc.

To get to the truth on this issue, the last person you should listen to is a lawyer profiteering from this swindle. Listen to independent online Irish journalists who report on this issue, and have to put up with dogs abuse, threats and slander from the fake left for their efforts. They do it for the love of their country and out of concern for genuine refugees. Here is one.
