A piece from Popular Mechanics on conspiracy theorists who claim the moon landing was faked.

POPULAR MECHANICS

As the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 mission arrives this weekend, Jarrah White is ready to catch the moon landing propagandists in another lie …

… It hasn’t been an easy summer for believers of the moon landing hoax. Stories of Neil Armstrong’s “one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind” are everywhere, with the surviving Apollo astronauts rightfully being treated like heroes. A new CBS poll found that 45 percent of Americans still consider the moon landing their biggest source of national pride. There’s so much moon fever, in fact, that even President Trump, the leading authority on fake news, applauded the “nerves of steel” of the original Apollo astronauts and promised we’d be back on the moon by 2024 …

… But Bart Sibrel, 54, isn’t especially interested in watching any of the mainstream retrospectives or self-congratulatory NASA events. He knows the party line they’ll be repeating. And given his history, he likely wouldn’t be welcome to any serious moon landing celebrations anyway. Certainly none with any of the original astronauts in attendance.

  1. And for the record the 3 high rise buildings on 9/11 were downed by 2 aeroplanes!

  2. The conspiracy theorists are always good for a laugh but have become something of an easy target. I suppose religion is the biggest conspiracy theory of the lot - the Devil caused it.

  3. What, like, 'russiagate' and skripal for example? Yes I agree, they are amusing at times!

    1. any and all conspiracy theories - the one that the universe was created 1000 years after the Sumerians invented glue ;that tobacco smoking doesn't cause lung cancer; prisoners all beat themselves up in Castlereagh - where would we start and where would we end?

  4. Didn't happen..Man has never been higher than lower earth orbit. And if they try to go through the Van Allens, they will be fried..

My question is where did the money go..? And heads up people, a lot of the stuff being taught in school today it is pure bullshit..Apart from the moon landing hoax, history taught in school is warped and one sided,...The list is endless..

Don Petit says they lost the technology to go back to the moon...

Think about it for 30 seconds..Now when the PIRA decommissioned their arms and bombs etc..Who believes the know how to make a 1,000ib bomb was lost?...

If anyone wants to believe man went to the moon in a glorified coke can, then ..fcuk knows..You'd be aawell giving it the habdullahs with Abdul at the wailing wall, then go to confessions..Religion is bullshit too...

  5. Remember NASA can't go the moon because they lost the technology..But Mars is on the agenda..? I couldn't make this shit up if I tried..And your kids (like mine) are taught in school about the moon landing..

  6. Frankie,

Considering the Apollo crew were travelling at 25000 KILOMETERS PER HOUR, the radiation from the Van Allen belt(s) they were exposed to would have been around 15 RADs if memory serves, due to the transit time of about an hour.

The US OH&S limit per hour is 300 RADS. They were quite safe.

And no-one lost the technology, only the political will to return to the moon.

Much like the Provo bombmakers who grew tired of an unwinnable war.

Good to see you are still nuts though after my sojourn lol

  7. Stevie then explain why NASA admit they can't go above LOWER EARTH ORBIT...And why the Orion Probe sent up to collect data about the radiation belts..Click the link and you will hear NASA employees such as Mark Geyer Orion project manager in 2016 saying they can't go above 1,200 mile (L.E.O.). I don't make this shit up.

Stevie, I don't care if Neil and Buzz played golf on the moon while Micky was taking pictures of the dark side of the moon. My problem is they (NASA) keep changing their narrative. And the minute they or anyone does a 180* and changes their story then questions have to asked.

Who am I to believe you, NASA or the crap a science teacher taught me as an absolute...I will come up with links that back up my claim..You and everyone else simply say "Frankie you are nuts..."..What I will continue to do is ask questions after I have researched. If you or anyone out there have proofs that you are right and I am wrong..Gimme a link or three.

Put into google, Never a straight answer pensive quill, check the links I provide and if you can debunk my thought process..I will hold my hands up and admit I am wrong...
