Daniel Bradley is taking legal action to tackle what he perceives as bias in the sphere of remembrance culture and monuments.

To whom it may concern in the Derry Graves Association,

I, Daniel Bradley, have been informed that you refused to give aid for my brother's memorial in Creggan.

I am very aware that the Derry Graves fundraise to help financially for their memorials.

As my brother Vol. Seamus Bradley, a Republican who fought for Ireland, was killed on Operation Motorman and suffered a violent death at the hands of the British army, and as he was a member of the republican movement I see fit that I should be able to ask yourselves for financial help.

As you have refused our family this aid it's only but right that we take this court and let them decide. I would therefore advise you approach your solicitor and give a copy of this letter so that so you can be defended.

I await your reply.

Yours Faithfully
