Radio Free Eireann will air today Saturday July 9 featuring an interview with former Blanketman, now Belfast solicitor Seamus Delaney on nationalists facing triumphalist Orange sectarian parades as we approach July 12th.


Another former Blanketman, Gerard Hodgins, was in court last Thursday with respected Belfast Republican Ivor Bell, and will speak about the preliminary hearing judgement in the case on charges from 1972, based on taped interviews handed over by Boston College.

Brooklyn AOH leader Jim Sullivan will preview that organization's upcoming national convention this week in Atlantic City, New Jersey.

There will also be a tribute to Alphie McCourt, youngest brother of Malachy and Frank, who passed away last week.

John McDonagh and Martin Galvin will co- host.

Radio Free Eireann is heard Saturdays at 12 Noon New York time on WBAI 99,5 FM and wbai.org
