Radio Free Eireann today, Saturday March 26, will discuss the meaning of 1916 Easter Rising Commemorations for us today.


Independent Fermanagh Councillor and member of the Sean MacDiarmada 1916 Society Bernice Swift will preview her major speech in Fermanagh on Sunday and how commemorations are viewed by those who live in the 6 counties still under British rule.

New York State Ancient Order of Hibernians President Tim MacSweeney will discuss the New York State Legislature's vote proclaiming April 24th Irish Republic Day throughout New York State as well as a major AOH commemoration in New York City on April 23,2016.

Tyrone Republican and newly elected AOH Tyrone County President, Gerry McGeough, will analyze recent proposals to remember British troops in 1916 Commemorations or the replacement of a mural of Kieran Nugent with the unionist icon Edward Carson in the Republican heartland of West Belfast.

There will also be announcements about upcoming 1916 Commemorations.
