Radio Free Eireann Broadcasting 31 October 2015

Sandy Boyer explains to readers what is being served up on Radio Free Eireann today.

When Radio Free Eireann broadcasts on Saturday October 31st to raise the money to keep us on the air our theme will be "America and the Easter Rebellion."

We will be playing excerpts from a DVD of Professor Raun O'Donnell's groundbreaking lecture that he delivered at O'Lunney's of Time Square, which we will be offering as a thank you gift for a gift of $75 to WBAI.

No matter how much you know about the 1916 Rising the lecture will come as a revelation. It is especially revelatory on the contribution of republicans in the U.S. and the largely hidden role of women in 1916.

Tim Myles of the Nassau County AOH will pay tribute to the late Jack Irwin, the past Division, County, and State AOH President.

We will also play excerpts from Dr. Ruan O'Donnell's lecture on "America and the Easter Rebellion" which the AOH presented at O'Lunney's of Times Square.

We will broadcast from Noon to 1 Saturday on WBAI, 99.5 FM and wbai.org on the web.

We depend on contributions from our listeners to keep Radio Free Eireann broadcasting. Please try to give as much as you can by calling 212 209 2950.

Thank you very much for your help.
Sandy Boyer
