At Homestead Of Sean MacDiarmada

Fermanagh 1916 Societies To Launch One Ireland One Vote Campaign Tomorrow In Kiltyclogher

Saturday 20th June 2pm, at the homestead of 1916 leader Sean MacDiaramada in Corranmore Kiltyclogher Co. Leitrim, will see the official launch of the Fermanagh 1916 Societies’ One Ireland One Vote Petition for an All-Ireland Referendum.

Fermanagh Independent Cllr. Bernice Swift will chair the event, where cousins of Sean MacDiarmada from Kiltyclogher will be the first to sign the One Ireland One Vote Petition.

1916 leader Sean MacDiarmada, born in Corranmore, Kiltyclogher, only a stone’s throw from County Fermanagh as the crow flies, was pivotal in the organising of the 1916 Easter Rising and a close comrade of Tom Clarke. The launching of the One Ireland One Vote campaign in Sean MacDiarmada’s homestead, with his cousins signing and endorsing the petition, is a patriotic and historical event, one we hope will reignite the flame for Irish freedom.

All are welcome, for more information contact the Sean MacDiarmada Society Fearmanach on their Facebook page or get in touch with us directly through this site.
